noigrim:
:hat off Hello all! I’ve recently discovered this page and decided to reconvert part of my orcs and goblins army into one of 300pts of chaos dwarfs. Henceforth my choice of troops is severely limited by the models that I actually own.
Luckily, I saw in this page that FW has published a chaos dwarf list in the book Tamurkhan which I’ll use to form up my army.
However, with my friend I alwas play 7th edition games, so the list is made having in mind the troop choice limitations of that rulebook.
Lords (0-1)
5th edition Astragoth 358pt
heroes (0-3)
Daemonsmith with pistol and armour of Bazherak and L2 185pts
Core 522pts (3+)
20 hobgoblins shield and full command 112pts
20 hobgoblins shield and full command 112pts

Welcome to CDO Noigrim.
Saw your first post and wanted to suggest Thommys book for you. A great piece of work. Can’t offer you much strategical advice though, havn’t played with the list. Demands a lot more models than the LoA list.
But I want to ask. Why 7th edition?

Me and my opponents always play with it, the 8th edition may be fine, but there are some things I dislike of it. For exemple the percentatges when forming up the army are nothing more than a repetition of the fantasy rules of 4th edition or 40k of 2d edition.
