[Archive] SuperHero Minis in 25mm - 28mm

G.2:

This thread was started to answer Clam’s question he asked in another thread.

Anyone now of other ‘not’ famous comic superhero/villians 28-30mm miniatures out there. This one came with Bucky and I also have HF’s Hellboy - but what’s else out there - other than Knight Models Star Wars?

Try these:

GRNDL:

I’m not that familiar with the superhero genre, so I don’t know any manufacturers. I do visit this blog off and on and they specialize in pulp wargaming.

I was attracted to it because of the mention of waffles, but I was to be greatly disappointed. :frowning:

ROFL....thanks for great belly laugh. The ironic thing, is that I would have been attracted to it for the same reason.

Da Crusha:

not super heroes, but here are a bunch of famous miniatures, from movies and video games.

Da Crusha
Thanks for finding/sharing that old thread. What lovely bunch of minis. I wish I had more money to spend on minis......thanks again.

clam:

Thank G.2.

I know the Stuff of legends resource: Super Hero Miniatures very well, but most of them are OOP and very hard to find.

Will give the other links a good look - looks like there could be some good proxies found there.

@Da Crusha
Totally forgot about that thread - have even posted in there myself. Thanks for reminding me. Have to have Blade, thats for sure.

Anyone know of a ‘not Thor’ - or a suitable miniature for a minor conversion?

Da Crusha:

no problem guys.

@Clam: try pulp city miniatures. they have a ton of super hero type minis, including a zombie “super man”.

inkpwn:

Black hat miniatures=

Tempted to buy the streatchy guy myself.

nitroglysarine:

Ha! Mr Flex, isn’t he fantastic?

(Oh I do love play-on-words!) :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

clam:

Thanks guys.

And sure pulp city has an awesome range - think I might have to look a bit close on the hole game here  - thought, I’ll probably not have the skills to turn that one into Thor :-/

Totally forgot about Black Hat. Their Highland Dwarfs are fantastic (if I was to do a dwarf army - those where the ones I would be using) but also a nice little range of Sups

But for a start I’ve picked up 4 reapers. They do a cool not-Ironman - and found something suitable for Dr. Doom and Hulk - and then another guy (Zenith, but not the current one) that might end up as Batman. Oh! and found a suitable Batman as well.

All more in a 30mm scale, but who cares - they are mainly for my sons to play with, so the will probably never mind.

clam:

So no one else know of a Norse miniature suitable for a classic Thor conversion? Da Crusha’s suggestion will take quite some work to mak look right - and my ‘customers’ are very demanding, here.

So, please no one know of a suitable 28-30mm one?

Obsidian:

Perun (not Thor!) from Pulp City is suitable yes? No?!

clam:

Helmet and weapon is wrong - but should/could be fixed? And can probably live with the belt and both, so yes, he might be useful  - thanks
