Is that the price?Yeah but it's hand cast and I believe it has high standard quality control going by Heresy's FB page (he occasionally mentions how he has to do another casting for people's dragons due to fiddle bits like the spines snapping in the mold and on one or two occasions has recast the whole thing because he refuses to send it out with bad mold lines).

I've actually forgotten when I ordered, 2010 or 2011, it was in October I think, it was just before Andy raised the price on the beast and I knew I wanted it and couldn't pass on such a deal (basically almost half-price).

Pre-order probably started at a point where it was around half-finished and would be shipped fairly quickly thereafter. Then stuff happened....
It is a very nice model but I don't think I could have waited that long.

It's funny I literally cannot remember when I ordered it (well made a friend order it). Said friend surprised me middle of January with 2 mails, a text and a Facebook contact to tell me it was being shipped.
I paid £100 +shipping for it and I think my buddy chipped in with some extra for the poor starving artist. To a degree I almost feel bad for getting it so cheaply considering the issues, then again I waited a long time for it...
