after seeing the golden compass,i was thinking about bears, gaint, white icebears with armour would make a cool army i thought.
so after doing some research i found a way to make them,i would build them from the icebear that the kislev tzar rides on.
but then i realised that i needed rules for them, ogre kingdom is in my opinion the best army for them(great bears that charge the enemy=great half-man beast that do the same).
is it possible, it would look cool on the table an army of bears and it is not so hard to make.
Minotaur rules work better because the ogres don’t have a good enough armour save, nor leadership IMO. (Still confused as to why the Golden Compass and not Northern Lights…) But, get picks up ASAP. (The advantage of using expensive pointswise models is it reduces the number of expensive moneywise models :D)
which is why minos work better. higher weapon skill, better armor save (nurgle give 4+ w/ light armor), persue 3d6, and give you room to add humans to it.
The bears Dire bears from reaper would be cheeper.Or reaper bear riders
Kera foehunter
Or bears riding horses holding spears!! what, wait, nah just make CDs riding bears...enslaving them i think you could find some good CDs riding monsters/Bears "guildwars stone summit dwarfs" on google
