[Archive] Thunderer árms for blunderbusses?

The Odor:

Is it do able with the New FW dwarfs?

JonJon:

I am not sure what your trying to say

The Odor:

Is it possible to make Bunderbusses out of the arms from Dwarven Thunderers with the New Forge World CDs?

Nicodemus:

You’ll be hard pressed to get them to look right. There’s the odd arm type in there that might look OK, but overall the Thunderer arms are more slender than the ones that go on the Infernal Guard. Granted, the IG arms are all armoured and the Thunderer arms are not, but then there’s also the issue of the hands. The IG hands are much more substantial and bulkier. The Thunderer hands, by comparison, look like slender Elf hands. If that doesn’t bother you, then you can make it work as the length of the arms is right.

The Odor:

I guess I could make some armor out of GS.

aka_mythos:

I would think it’d just be easy enough to take the fireglaives cut off the barrel blade section past the forward most arm and in its place, use some funnel shaped beads to create end of the blunderbus:

JonJon:

The old chaos warrior arms fit nice when cut off at the elbow, but using dwarf arms from gw will not work well

Jon

The Odor:

I guess I could use the arms I found to something. Great plan with the Fireglaives.

You could use this idea and just put a magnet @ the end of the barrel of the fireglaive and on the back of one of those beads so you can switch them out @ will.
