Godbob and his jolly rogers:

what druchii nov ow it hurt’s but SW great i always liked there army(but i collect dark angles?)but it’s nice to see all that info (damn no surprises)and look at all those lovely dark elf mini’s but no highborn oh well back to the drawing board on my highborn riding a dragon (pic’s later) :hat off is IPA apocalypse hope so but come on the only plastic model are those two and the only new special CH is that Lokhir fellheart HE and WE got more then us

Hashut’s Blessing:

The Thunderhawk will be cheaper, as the trend with originally-Forgeworld models shows us. I don’t know, but I would guess the quality is worse too.

The new stuff seems to be what was expected. For those that work in GBP, halve the $s

Kera foehunter:

Do you know with the 5 packs if they are still metal?? or are they old figures like the did with the dwarfs and broke them down to make it cheeper in price

Hashut’s Blessing:

They’ll just be repackaged.

Hashut's Blessing
which is good 'cos i'm so tried having to buy blister's one by one for a unit what were they thinking :mad

Hashut’s Blessing:

Well, there is that, but it’s also annoying that they’ll discontinue the blisters because some people may only want a couple more to add to their unit. They should have both. Again, the great minds running the business of GW have failed to impress. It’s also quite a let down that they keep releasing new armies, but they only update a few of the models. Admittedly, IMO, the DE didn’t need the update, but that’s not the point.

Fridericus_Rex:

Can everybody please read the rules page. Double-posting is not allowed unless it is an update in your own army blog. Increasing numbers are double-posting, despite edits and messages reminding you. There is an edit button in the bottom right hand corner of each post you make, it even has a quick edit feature so you can change it without opening a new page. If you wish to bump a topic as well as edit your last post, copy the old post into your new one, make your new post and delete the old one.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Sorry. I didn't want to break the rules... You have already rubbed out the second post and wrote it into the first post. Sorry again.

Hashut's Blessing
A long time ago (when GW started phasing out blisters for units) I asked someone who worked at GW why they are getting rid of blisters and the person's response was that blisters were taking up to much space (in the stores) and that selling them in boxes was more marketable (pretty pictures, painting guilds on the back, ect).

I miss the blisters =

Godbob and his jolly rogers:

my local GW never get’s rid of anything (i can still buy the limited modal) so i’m safe

AGPO:

I miss the days when managers had more freedom. Some still chose to stock specialist games, others had big collections of old minis and white dwarfs and others would put blisters on sale when the army was getting an update

Godbob and his jolly rogers:

those day’s are gone AGPO :hat

cornixt:

When I first came here, I was surprised how the blisters in the US had only 2 models, compared to 3 in the UK.
