Looking good im glad they continue supporting the game. I havent gotten beastmen or wood elves yet but i did get the belegar/skarsnik dlc. Managed to win a campaign with Skarsnik on very hard but the Belegar campaign is godamn hard. Skarsnik with 3 full supporting armies each followed by their own waagh! And the upkeep penalty at the start for Belegar means i cannot even support one full army to defend with.

The trick is to get the Crooked Moon's territory right off the bat, then build both provinces with at least a level 4 capital and level 2 small settlements (3 is better). You will need maxed up garrisons and economy buildings EVERYWHERE, to help stop greenskins coming from the Badlands (and the inevitable rebellions). By the time you've done this it's going to be turn 60 already, at which point you are more than comfortable to hire all the Regiments of Renown and make a run for the eight peaks. Belegar has a trait that allows him to reduce siege holdout time by five (or nine?) turns when fully maxed, so just siege the Eight Peaks and starve the Orc garrison to death.
DO NOT try to attack Karak Norn and Karak Ziflin. Leave them be. They will eventually confederate with you when the End Times begin.
Thanks for the tip Skink! Had a feeling i wold have to be more agressive with Skarsnik since after 40-50 turns he becomes nigh on unstoppable and the other dwarven holds refuse to help out those damnable Unbaraki!

Also, remember that the ethereal heroes can't be hired again if they die, but they can't be assassinated either! Rather than having all 4 together in the same army use both Thanes to block Skarsnik's forces/assault units/damage walls/assassinate characters, because heroes gain experience even with failed attempts! Given a proper influx of money you could find yourself with level 30 heroes in no time.
