Joshmohr:
If you notice, the key’s “C” an “F” are close together on a keyboard. In the dark eldar rule book, the new one, there is a item called “Casket of Flensing”
Can you say typo?

GRNDL:
There usually is in first-run printings. But I don’t think this is a typo. Flensing is a term for cutting, usually used in relation to butchering whales. Whalers used to use massive, halberd-like, blades to cut a whale into chunks when it was brought on board. Dark Eldar are all about the cutting, dissection/vivisection of things, so this term is pretty thematic.
Joshmohr:
I suppose- It just looks like the device (The item shoots S-D6 AP-D6 Assault D-6 shots, which are ghost’s) could be named Casket of cleansing, since it’d cleanse the lesser races- But i see your point.
Thommy H:
If it was supposed to start with a ‘c’, it would be “clensing” which is not a word. It is a typo of “cleansing” though, ironically.
Can you say tipo?
GRNDL:
Dark Eldar aren’t really about “cleansing lesser races” as much as they are just inflicting pain and torture. Where most races go for the kill, DE are about pain and suffering. So I think Flensing is more appropo. Also, the description mentions stripping skin and pulling the skull/spine from a victim, which is as close to butchery as you’ll find, I think.

Flail-Cleansing, yeah I think the Dark Eldar would have them.
