[Archive] Unit-based Games for Warhammer Models

cornixt:

Thought now seemed like a good idea to make a list of all the unit-based games that can be played with regular Warhammer models (so not small skirmish games, dungeon crawls, and the like, preferably ranked units). Must be currently available, or in the case of Warhammer adaptions it must have current community action/support.

Add more suggestions to the thread and I’ll add them to the list in this post.

Demo rules for Chaos Wars.

What I have been told.

The rules were well received at Buckeye Battles. Some of the tournament circuit organizers here in the Ohio area are demoing them. They are providing player feedback. If they decide they like the rules there was talk of making them the rules choice for the upcoming tournament season.

The developers at Iron Wind Metals are wide open to player feedback. In fact they are asking people to give them ideas for the background and fluff, meaning write something up and submit it. They encourage you to use whatever models you like. If you convert one of their models and they like what you have done with it, they are willing to put it into production and make it part of the line.
