Vogon:

Ok I’m re-arranging my blog to update the first post each time.

First up my Lammasu which I’ve put together, filled the gaps and will be undercoating the next evening I get the chance to



Partially assembled Iron Daemon, I’ve assembled it in sub-assemblies to try to help with painting though I had enormous difficulty with the grill round the top of the smoke stack so I took the decision to lop it off.



And finally the first actual Chaos Dwarf to start being painted.



I’ll up date as often as I can

Latest Iron Daemon Update.



Hellsmith painted for the army but given priority for the Macclesfield GW monthly painting competition (results to follow)



Please post any comments or constructive criticism.  I’m hoping to improve my painting while doing this army (so it may take a while to get finished)

I hadn’t realised how complicated the Iron Daemon was to put together and start painting.

Thanks guys. I didn’t get as much painting in as I’d planned last night but I’ll post an update when I get home this evening.

I’m really pleased with the Hellsmith so far especially the face I just have to make sure I get it finished in time for the weekend :slight_smile:

Personally I’m not sold on the light coloured leather. Otherwise a good job so far.

I think the lightness of the leather may be partially due to the flash on the camera but I can see what you mean. I’ll see if I can work on it a bit more and darken it a little.

P.S. the option weapon arm is currently magnetised to enable switching between hand weapon and pistol.
