Axe we have!
Anyone fancy writing a short gamey or rulesy article? Perhaps a look at Chaos Dwarf tactics or homebrew rules for them in Kings of War, 9th Age, Age of Sigmar, an old Warhammer Fantasy edition? Much preferably a short one, because the first new planned issue is already packed with stuff and we might have to purge some/belay until next issue, if a second gets done.
We can run without rulesy stuff and I think it’s important we don’t hold up the whole magazine to round it out (no one gets paid for this!), but optimally we’ll have at least one page dedicated to it.
Carcearion:
Hmm… I’d be willing to write an article for equivocating KoW units and WHFB units. However I’m not terribly certain how long it might end up if it was comprehensive, or how quickly I could get it to you (how soon where you wanting an article buy?)
maybe doing it in installments would be a good format.

No idea on timescope for the first issue. Most content is in place or planned out since long ago, and is now being written. It’s mostly up to editing, and no stress.
You’re welcome to attempt such an article! It could be a good place to showcase some members’ Kings of War miniatures these last years. No idea of length here either. You could try and do it in instalments if you wish, or just try and keep it a little compact and see how it goes.

I’d recommend doing it in installments. Perhaps an infantry, cavalry, hero, “monster,” and artillery article series. 5 parts to the series. This way we fill the bits, and it gives you plenty of room to write opinions. You could feasably combine hero/artillery, but I left them separate, but I think the other categories really could shine. Especially with what KoW did with the BC’s… Matter of fact, that’s where I’d start with it.
Carcearion:
Hmmm… Well while infantry seems a logical place to start it would be rather a longer article, the BC’s do seem temping to keep the article short, might struggle to fill the page without some significant art assets though since its only two units.
Admiral:
Start with whichever you think will be best. A bit longer can probably be carried into the magazine anyway unless my page estimations are completely off the hook.
