Do you happen to know of some good reference image of human anatomy, where the skin is removed but both muscles and superficial veins are pictured? I.e. a flayed man. Any help would be appreciated, since it has this far proven difficult to find anything at all. Photographies, digital renderings, paintings and anatomical drawings regardless of century are all welcome.

he’s a bit creepy. we first saw him dissecting bodies on TV.
I went to one of his exhibitions here in Sydney and they had a scene in one in "Casino Royale"
so maybe his images will help

I saw the Bodies exhibition in Copenhagen some years back. Really freaky stuff. Try finding pictures from that.
Also search for ‘zygote body’ it was a free online 3d model of a human. I let you remove layers/organs from a body. Starting with skim and going all the way into only viewing the nervous system.

Are you looking for an anatomy atlas? Then I could recommend the “Sobotta” or the “Netter”.
But if you want to see original photos of prepared dead, then the books of Gunter von Hagens (as already mentioned) recommendable.
