Zuh-Khinie :
Hey guys… I promised a friend of mine to paint one of his war mammoths (yes, mammothS… FW should really start working out on a better delivery-return sysytem).
He wants it to be Khorne-y (pun intended), but I don’t really know how to make a start on it. I was thinking a greyish fleshcolour for the exposed skin parts, and maybe a dark brown or even a black/greyish fur… However, should I paint all metal parts in red with brass accents, or… What do you guys think? Cheers for any feedback!
Abecedar :
don’t see why not. one of the mumak (?) painting tutorials had big painted symbols on the heffalump’s skin. you could do the khorne stuff that way.

I think that your idea is pretty good. I would paint the top wooden bit a dark brown, and the sheilds, icons and banners should be red, and the head armour rusty - bronze, or red like the sheilds and icons.
hope this helps, even if it dosen’t fit.

What i do is look at some of the ogre stuff.
Like the thundertusk throw it white it would give you a diffrent look at a plain old mamoth Nice bold metal would also be cool
