[Archive] what exactly is a bull centaur?

that guy:

MY army is going to be a mish-mash of greenskins and CD as some of you may have seen, and at some point, maybe soon, I’ll be sculpting a few cavalry models for my army.My original thought was to have some kind of mounted greenskin like a squig rider or boar boy but after being on this forum for a little while I think I’d be a fool if I didnt at least consider bull centaurs for this role.

Problem is I’m new to warhammer in general and GW turned their backs on CD long before I showed up to play along. So I’m wondering if someone could point me in the direction of some official or at least widely accepted fluff concerning these guys.History and scale would be most helpful but any short stories for perspective of psyche wouldnt hurt either.

I have the Indy GT PDF. Does that have the proper depiction of these guys?

I’ve got to know what I’m dealing with before I start butchering the art and making it my own little mess.

Try the wiki:

http://www.chaos-dwarfs.com/wiki/index.php/Bull_Centaurs

There’s other stuff too… in teh white Dwarf presents: Chaos Dwarfs book I believe there is a snippet about them… but I think this wiki sums that up…

Can’t wait to see your creations!

snowblizz:

Yeah the wiki contains in principle the entirety of the official background for the Bull Centaurs.

And the Indy GT list does described them very closely inline with the “official line”.

that guy:

groovy, thanks
