Does anyone know what this is? The person I got the picture from said it’s a Chaos Dwarf Rock Thrower, which until now I’ve never heard of

nitroglysarine:
not sure, was watching it on eBay for possible conversion
Fequiil:
i don’t know, although it looks really cool, abeit a little un-GW if you ask me.
Obsidian:
Looks like something from Heartbreaker/Harlequin (and whatever other company who bought the range at one time!
) could have made.
Doesn’t look familiar to me but it fits their range.
Slambo:
Goblin stone thrower, Iron claw range. Late 80’s.
Shakhorth:
Cool mini for sure. Perhaps not for CD’s but I would see hobgoblins fielding it.
Zanko:
Here is a better pic:![]()
… and the link!
… and this is the comment on the side: "These goblins were originally released as Iron Claw and three separate sets were advertised in White Dwarfs 103, 104 and 106. Many but not all were absorbed unto the main Citadel range in the 1991 catalogues."
Imo very cool model! It would fit great in my army!

It’s a cool little item- isn’t it? I’ll be watching it closely - and @Nitro - don’t even dare covert this - it’s a relic for god sake
Here is a few more pictures - for the nostalgics

warh:
That looks like a Bob Olley master pice!
I’m a big fan of Bob Olleys skulpts and nearly a collector;P
cornixt:
I saw it in the background of a few O&G armies in White Dwarf, probably around WD149. I had assumed it was an older Citadel model since there was a much bigger and newer rock lobba available at the time (and painted bright red or yellow in the studio army!).

Your know, that parts breakdown makes it seem pretty easy to scratch build one of your own! I sense a project sneaking out of the back of my brain…
EDIT: spelling
MartyF:
lol, I was watching this in the hope of getting it cheap. Ahh well, I guess that plans gone out the window!

That is a wicked cool model.
I would love to add one to my collection as well…however O&G are way down on the priority list for now.
Cheers,
