[Archive] What is your target for Army size?

Willmark:

If you have been following my army blog you know I’m really planning out my CD army, much more do then I hve ever done so before. While I was in one session, deep in thought (hah) I realized with this plan I’m going to be over 4,000 points! Right now I’m at just under 1,000 so I’m 1/4 of the way there.

Anyone else given this much thought?

I havent really thought about it but i would really like a 3000 point army which shouldnt be too hard with all my 3rd edition and the 60 plastic cd’s im getting in the mail soon.

im working up to a 2250 list, and will probably expand to 3999.

Its not as bad as harvestmouses 14000 points…with 2 juggernauts and all…

have 7000+ 4th ed… thinking about expansion with new army book… we�ll see…

i got 2000 but the trick is getting them all painted

Im planning 3K. I usually play 2K games, so it gives me some room to pick & choose.

Same as Blood Axe - generally play 2K so I have 3K painted to give me options (plus some DOW).

How does that work, Juggers haven't had rules since 3rd ed have they?

I'd aim for 2,000 plus options then review, same as for all my armies

My basic army is laid out for 2k points, and I would hope to expand it to 2500 once the first 2k are completed. I don’t think I will go a lot further than that - at 2500 points, I’ll have all the interesting stuff in there, and any further addition would only be “more warriors” and “more hobgoblins”.

  1. If I get more masks by 2009 then ill expand to 4000. Then again GW will have gone out of buisness by then. Oh well.

2000 at the moment I have 1500 so 3/4 of the way there painting them all is hard but the worst is putting shields on them.

2000p is my current task - but with an ambition about a Mechanical Dragon Tyrant (count as Taurus Lord) and a Lammasu High Priest - “the final goal” is around 3000p - I think.

I’m looking at a 4/5k pt army.

The main problem I see is I have all the bits there, they just need assembling and Greenstuffing - and I guess finally painting. :rolleyes:

Who knows how long that will take…
