Well, I would just resculpt him entirely to do that (which would be an awesome model except for the fact that we all know Dwarfs/Chaos Dwarfs don’t have knees!)

Wow! The result is definitely worth the effort. Anyway, why you cannot use him in your Nurgle army? I know you want all your armors to look rotting/rusted, but with the right paintjob this guy wouldn’t look out of place in your Chaos host…

It’s tricky with my ‘army’. I want anything that’s clearly nurgle to be more than just painted green.
However, the Chosen models I’ve painted I’ve done just that, as the models were too nice for converting…
I’ll paint the other model red and use him as a display piece army standard bearer. On a 40mm round base, with snow.
Seeing as the conversion was fairly easy and the models are so cheap off ebay I think I’ll just paint this guy red and on a display base of some kind (perhaps standing on heaps of dead).
I’ll pick up another couple in the future and convert them properly to nurgle.
