We are now at 36! (i decided i will probably buy 2) We are more than half way there! But i was expecting more votes than 28 by now since the thread has over 600 views.Maybe that's because I've checked this thread like three hundred times a day ;) - would really like to see this happens.

Everything you need to know is in the pic in my sig. The other two pics are just further development of the head and mechanical arm.

count me in and Anno (i think its Anno, or is it? Shut up me!) Anyway…
I’ll buy at least 3! Please though make at least a hundred i’d adore for this to be an ongoing thing that has a constant flow of models! And Anno if you could give any sculpting tips and tutorials to an amateur sculptor like me i’d appreciate it and if you want i could even help out with making some of this hobgoblin fell!:hat off

Thank you very much for your availability!

Oh, I’d like to note that I think this model may have too much individual character to get up to the requisite number needed. If this were a model that was a bit more generic and fitting with existing fluff rather than appearing to be a special, unique character then it would be easier to get to 50 or more. A model that could represent every hero or even the leader of common squads would be someone people would really have use for 2-3 or more of.
But while a hobgoblin on a unicycle with a chaos dwarf hat is a solid concept as a special character, it’s not going to have the right feel on the board. Have you tried pitching it over on Da Warpath? Because I think you’ll have similar trouble there, it just doesn’t look greenskiny enough to actually be used.
(I accidentally initially posted this on the wrong thread x_x)

This models uniqueness its its main appeal. If you wanted a standard, generic Hobgoblin Champion then go on ebay and buy one. It will probably cost the same as this model but it will be no where near as appealing. The whole point of champion/hero models is that they are something different and special from the normal models. Thats exactly what this is and i dont think we will have any trouble at all in finding 60 people to buy it.

Where you would probably find a lot of people who would buy this are here
http://www.the-waaagh.com/forums/
and here
http://www.talkfantasyfootball.org/ (or one of the other bloodbowl sites).
With only a tiny bit of converting he would fit perfectly into both settings imo.
Hobgoblyn:
Well, that's not true at all. Outside of the Dogs of War models, there does not exist any sort of Hobgoblin hero model with a dynamic look and pose. The old Hobgoblin Champions from the Chaos Dwarf line are rather ugly and dull by today's standards-- so there is almost certainly a market for a dynamic-looking Hobgoblin Champion or Hero model who could even fit right in a Goblin unit in an Orc & Goblin army or a Hobgoblin unit in a Chaos Dwarf army regardless of how the rest of the squad has been converted.Oh, I'd like to note that I think this model may have too much individual character to get up to the requisite number needed. The model hasnt been advertised on Da Warpath because anno hasnt given his permission. Im sure it would attract a lot more attention but then it would be like when we all took over the cyanide forums to vote on one poll and then never posted again lol.

Da Crusha:
But the model you have here is one wearing a hat that most Chaos Dwarfs have discarded for its silliness riding something that looks clownishunfortunatlely for the project I agree with hobgoblyn. I would like to buy it, but the first thing Ill do after that is cut off the hat, then finding the right unit to put it in is difficult too. it kind of makes me reconsider it...

Though I’m not a BigHat lover, I like this guy very much! :hat off
Imo Kaosnick is neither silly nor clownish just a little bit strange and extraordinary!
… and not every mini must be part of single unit, sometimes just looking good is enough!
:hashut
Lord maklai:
ahh i see your not the sculptor, well no problem, i’d say i’m about even with your artist skills although you a a VERY different style to me, but you are better than me at actually inventing something that people and you yourslef like, i can’t think up many unique things that i actually like:(

Though I'm not a BigHat lover, I like this guy very much! :hat offIndeed Ive become of mixed opinions over the big hat vs mask horns and general chaosishness (Now thats a crazy word if their ever was one) and he wont fit into my new army so well but all is deffinately not lost, He will look great in his own right as a hobgoblin leader type and look good. That is enougth surely.

When will the model be on sale, how many copies made, and can we get a sneak preview of the model itself?

When will the model be on sale, how many copies made, and can we get a sneak preview of the model itself? The model hasnt even been made yet. Work probably ahsnt even started, apart from the concept. Thats why there is this poll. Unless we get 60 people wanting to buy it, the model will never get made. At the moment only 60 copies are going to be made i think.
