Admiral:
Promising unit and nice first attempt at miniature sculpting. Keep at it and you’ll be an expert in no time.
One tip for the beard is to make lots of horizontal indents, and not just flat-on, but also in the “valleys” formed where two ringlets meet. Put differently: Indents could be made in the beard in a semi-circle around each ringlet. They don’t need to form up symmetrically to form a spiral or anything like that. GW’s don’t do, and they look great.

Thank you for the tip Admiral, i'll keep that in mind.

Admiral:
I like that admiral’s colours. And title.
My first instict is to not suggest anything for the Lammasu, since I think you’ll be better able to come up with your own paintjob and make it fit better into your unique army without interference. But how about bone white body with red or purple hair? That’s enough outside the box if nothing else.

Thank you admiral. ;)
I actually also finished another hero a few minutes ago, i just had to wait for the paint to dry but without further ado.
Zla'tak The Redbearded.

MadHatter:
So glad to see you uploaded pics of the army and wow, what a long way you’ve come in the short time since last we spoke :o
The heroes especially look absolutely awesome!
Yodrin:
A lot of cool stuff, and nice choice of colors. LF to seeing the prophet on the Lamma painted!
Zhatek The Weird:
Thanks for all the replies people, means a lot to me.
My army theme is going to build on the Scandinavian country’s flags.
So to start it off here are the first five CD’s representing the Swedish part of the army led by The Admiral.

Admiral:
That theme and that unit in particular is glorious.
Good choice of Marauder shields for them. They make a big difference, and I think your weapon swaps are very convincing. I would never want to show my clumsy attempts at similar things from my beginner days. You’ll master this hobby in no time with this pace.
Yodrin:
Coming along nicely. Like the colors on the unit, and LF to seeing unit done:)
Admiral:
Will the Norwegian unit be mounted on skis?
Fuggit Khan:
Will the Norwegian unit be mounted on skis? ;)
Admiral
LOL That would be a first, a Chaos Dwarf army all on skis and snow themed bases.
It's very nice to see more Big Hats painted...the choice of colors is rather original and a nice change of pace. Well done sir!
:hat off
Yodrin:

Admiral
LOL, thats funny :cheers;P, but we are good on skies yes, any kind as well :s
You are working fast I see, and good work it is. Keep it up!!
Admiral:
You not only seem to have natural talent for this thing… you’re fast as hell as well!
Zhatek The Weird:
Thanks for the comments Yodrin and Admiral, my secret for painting is listening to Eye of the Tiger by survivor. It makes me feel like i am in a montage.
Well back to the painting station for my case Zhatek out.
Bloodbeard:
You’re putting out miniatures pretty fast min jyske ven.
The bright blue is certainly a first for me. The Admiral hero is cool - noble even.
Weapon swaps and marauder shields is an easy way to break up the conformity of the old plastics.
Consider shading red beard with some black.
Admiral:
I find brown or red-brown (like Reikland Fleshshade) wash works better for shading red. You could always try out different washes to see which suits your taste the best.
Zhatek The Weird:
Thanks for the tips guys i’ll look into how it works out.
Ah yes Bloodbeard i turn into quite the mad man when i paint. Paint, paint everywhere.
