Admiral:
Your painting fits in well with your grandpa’s. Looking good!
I believe there are old Chaos Dwarf banners on the web to print if you want to. Nice inclusion of the death rune on the Swedish banner.

Yodrin:
Coming a long nicely! A Swedish flag on the banner… nice touch
Zhatek The Weird:
Thanks Admiral and Yodrin, i am currently working on the Norwegian Unit.
But what i wanted to show is my Mordheim warband, one of my friends invited me over and i watched a game of it and i was hooked, so i had to make my own little warband to join them with.
This also gave me an opportunity to use some of the other generation chaos dwarves which didn’t really fit into the top hat army.
I also updated Brandon’s paint job a little bit.

The Warband consists of a Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer, five Chaos Dwarves and a mercenary ogre which in this case is my beloved skin wolf Brandon.
Admiral:
That’s a really nice warband. Good luck with the Mordheim games!
It seem some paint have been chipped off Zhatek’s gloves, the boarhead’s hammerhead and the red armoured one’s boot. You could repaint the damaged areas and paint Matt Varnish over the finished models if you haven’t done so already. That’ll help your paintjob stand the test of time! A few extra thin layers of varnish to exposed and constantly touched areas is usually a good idea. Just a tip.

That's a really nice warband. Good luck with the Mordheim games! Thanks Admiral i will, me and my five other friends are probably going to make some kind of story driven Mordheim campaign in the future. But for now i will try and learn how to play the game, i might try and do some battle reports i think they are called that.. at some point in the future.

Bloodbeard:
Mordheim is fantastic - brilliant concept.
The problem with Mordheim campaigns has always been a lack of playtesting. During long campaigns the game gets very unbalanced. So we’ve always had to come up the house rules, modifcations and so on.
I find that Coreheim works a lot better for that. Fan made mordheim, that’s had all the testing and rewriting that a game needs.
Oh, I almost forgot. I like the deathrune inplemented in the banner. I suggest you paint the yellow strips broader, a couple of milimeters. And that you “hightlight” the banner. For such large flat areas, it’s really simple to add some more colour, and it looks a lot better.
Yodrin:
Nice Mordheim crew! LF. too seeing the Norwegian unit…ofc;)
Zhatek The Weird:
I have returned, thanks for tip Bloodbeard i’ll check it out.
Haha thanks Yodrin i just need to finish the last 5 out of 20 and then their basing.
So to start off is a army shot of my full army, still a lot to paint. But progress is happening.
What you see on this picture is 40 CD’s with Blunderbuses, 40 Chaos Dwarf Warriors, 40 Hobgoblins, 5 Hobgoblin Wolfriders, 4 Ka’daii fireborn/Skinwolves, 2 Earthshakers, 7 characters and a special unit for a campaign game which includes Zhatek and his elite guard.
Next up is my group of heroes, which i have named The Dark Council of Zarek Thunderborn.
And last but not least my newest hero for the army: Xak’Tal The Conqueror. (Still a w.i.p)
Well, i’ll get back to painting.
-Zhatek
Yodrin:
A nice army you got, and well done with the progress. LF to seeing more!
Admiral:
Agreed with you Yodrin! That’ll be a warhost to boot!
If you’d be interested in old-style Hobgoblin heads for conversions, there’s always mine and Bloodbeard’s heads if we manage to get 'em cast. It suits the old style army.
I’m sure your grandfather would be proud of your work on the army. Or rather, as mum use to say, he’s proud of you right now up in heaven. Xak’Tal the Conqueror is a great conversion to my eye.
I have to admit that the lusekofta Norwegian Chaos Dwarfs look good on this distance… but then the Swedish hero look the most badass in the bunch. :yar
Zhatek The Weird:
Thanks Yodrin. :hat off
Haha just you wait for the Danish unit to be painted Admiral.
Xak’Tal was a pretty simple conversion from a old chaos dwarf crewmen. But i really liked the way he turned out, cant wait to get home so i can paint him up.
Those are some pretty amazing head sculpts Admiral, really well done i might be interested in some heads.
Fuggit Khan:
A beautiful selection of classic models for your “Dark Council of Zarek Thunderborn”…and your converted hero Xak’Tal The Conqueror is simply awesome. I love him! That particular model has always been one of my favorite Perry sculpts, it lends itself to so many cool conversion idea’s…and yours is very nice!
:hat off
Zhatek The Weird:
Hello everyone :hat off
It has been quite a while a year or so, but oh well i have been a busy Dawi Zharr. But fear no more Zhatek is back hehe I am still in wonder with how the Age of Sigmar will affect how i play the game, also updates i started a little side project of a warband of werewolf ogre’s. But there are also plenty of work to do on the good ol Dawi Zharr.

Admiral:
Welcome back! Your army is shaping up well indeed. I’m sure the Swedish regiment is the best one overall, though the Norwegian Blunderbussers are probably better ski troops, and no one can swivel more beer than the troopers under Danebrogen.
Bloodbeard:
Given you a silver army medal! Congratulations and good work! Make sure to upload your units to the picture gallery. You have enough to earn a Bronze Gallery Medal as well.
Zhatek The Weird:
Finally getting back to working on the last things I have, I finally finished building my own table for miniwargaming
Here are two pictures of what i am going to use in a battle against my friend Tom’s Tomb Kings army.

I have 20 more Norwegian Blunderbuss Dwarves left to paint and a Earth Shaker with crewmen. More updates to come, Zhatek out for now.
