Shakhorth:

That’s a rough sculpt? Damn that looks awesome! :o

Love the body, it looks very natural. Also the head looks great, perfect size.

What can I say, I’m a fan.

zsoulless:

The basic shape of the Body is done… I just need to clean up a few spots and do some detail work… Then cast it…

I tacked on the other head for giggles…

I should have a few of these casted and be working on armor details in a few days…

Kered:

Really great sculpting.
Good luck, I’m interested in what weapons he will have.

dedwrekka:

Awesome sculpting, was a big fan of your work over at the Waaagh! glad to see some of your work here as well.

Nazhur:

That body looks great together with the face. I think that you should stick with a mustache on the models, because that looks great. Shall be intersting to follow your progress.

Obsidian:

Great work! I like that he’s big and looking very strong!

zsoulless:

Thanks Everyone.

Really great sculpting it slightly overshadows my work.

Kered
Uh… Thanks. but honestly hes still rather basic and mundane at the moment… Once I give him some equipment and get him into Riveted Splint mail armor, He will step up a notch…

Thanks dedwrekka!! Good to see a familiar face.

Well let me sculpt one without before we make the call… I think you might be pleasantly surprised…

Obsidian
Good!. I made his arms a tad large but for the most part hes been made to GW measurements.

Kered:

I quite like the big arms though they are slightly odd next to the relatively small pectorals.

cornixt:

Awesome work, don’t know how I missed this thread before. Have some slaves.

zsoulless:

Thanks for the slaves!!

heres a few more pics in return!

Obsidian:

Oh my, excellent!:o

I’ve been trying to award you some slaves for a while now but there is an error not letting me! As soon as I can do so expect some! :hat off

How did you do the robe on the Chaplain?

NP it's the Thought that counts... :cheers Im pretty sure I used to have something like 23 slaves over a year ago.. but not anymore for some reason.. Maybe due to my lack of activity over the last year or so.... Not really a big deal though..

The robe was fun.. Ill look into doing a Tutorial..

Ahh, it must have been during the big slave escape! There were huge riots down the mines, our Hobgoblins did what they could. But some slaves escaped and most were hurt badly during or after the riots...

zsoulless:

Figures… Take off for awhile and the slave revolt…
Well… Heres My first attempt(WIP)… I wanted to Try Splint mail armor but I think I made the plates a little too big…

I dont like it… Ill finish it out to see if it grows on me… Or the Beard covers enough to make it bearable…

Kered:

I think the splint mail looks a bit ram shackled together but you are right to finish it to see how it looks.

Forgefire:

I think it looks good right now, bigger plates might actually be better it gives him a rough yet sturdy feeling. Good work so far!

zsoulless:

Thanks… Ill try to make it work… If not Ill just chalk it up to practice…
I think its only save and grace at the moment are the Rivets… So many Amateur sculptors try to fake them by pressing little circles into GS and it just looks like crap…

zsoulless:

I just pitched that model… Yuck.

Anyhow… The guy I did the Dwarf Pirate(( I think theres a pic over in the conversion area somewhere…)) for last year Asked me if I would revisit my Dwarf Blank so we could do some slayers as well while Im working dwarves… So im going to jump off and do that really quick…

Da Crusha:

Why do you use GW plastic bodies. You seem skilled enough to do you own bodies as well. You should try do some bodies with prober legs and knees :D

clam
I was taking the easy way out..
Ive been talking to a few people about this very same thing.. Mostly because they would like to purchase a set of these when I done and I would actually run into trouble If I sold conversion bits that were created for the sole purpose of being interchangeable with an existing GW product..
So I am considering it..

zsoulless
its funny that you say that since impact miniatures sells conversion bits to be used with 40K Kroot to build their calasain frog team.
