I guess you’re going to have to make a second board mate… LOL This one is awesome… it’s great to see some larger terrain interpretations here.

Haha thank you sir

Yeah it is big chance for more display pieces. But gotta get more space for all this stuff first. already had to sell away so many other armies, high elfs, chaos, tomb kings, tyranids, nurgle… and now thinking of selling all my mordheim junk.

I have big wishes and plans for a Chaos dwarf / darklands full sized table, with lost kingdom miniatures fortress and terrain. I love siege battles, and its a dream to have a chorf city siege someday

Yeah, you need a warehouse once you start building tables… haa haa I used my basement for a while solely for wargaming and had a full sized table / table stand I threw together from scrap wood. It took up a good portion of the room…

I had to keep it covered when I wasn’t using it, it got dusty, some of the 2 x 2 tables went wonky, and yeah, I said “enough” and let Star Wars take over… lol

Lots of crates and a good bit of rearranging and it looks more like this now:

I have a table in the room I guess that could be used for a 4 x 4 game if someone came begging for a lesson in Zharrdron punishment, but seeing that there’s no one any more that’s local, I kinda gave up on bigger terrain projects for now…

I played at a event this weekend, where there was 26 old world players who showed up, and there were surprisingly many different armies brought to the table, with different variations. At most it was 4 orcs n goblin players, 3 cathay, and the rest were other armies with different lists. Which was cool to see and play against.

There were some house rules, to not let legacy armies fall behind. Like max 3 terror units, max 25% spent on flying lords,. Etc..

Of course, cathay is ridiculously strong anyway, but it made it possible to have fun for unsupported factions. Renegade 1.5 was allowed

This was my list:

I was the only chorf player there. Was mostly leaning on high thoughness, iron deamon shooting and the fact chorfs are rare to fight against.

First time playing competitive old world, usually I play mordheim.

In total it was 1 victory, 1 draw, 3 loss. Was a lot of fun moments and got seriously wrecked last game by mortuary cult archer list.

Here is some fotos from the event . Everyone’s armies were beautiful painted. My display won best painted old world army. Some guys said it reminded them of old white dwarf posts. Super happy

Against hungry ogres

Quick Expedition force

GNOMES! (Orcs n goblin)

Flying rats (steed of shadows)

Didn’t get pics of mortuary’s cult.
