Hi there,

just introduced myself over in the welcome area.

Now here I will show the progress of my new 90’s style army. Feel free to comment and also give hobby advice, since I always like to learn new tricks.

Until now, I have already printed the following:

  • Various Heroes on foot and riding.
  • 1 winged bull
  • 1 Lammassu
  • 1 Iron Demon
  • 1 Deathshrieker
  • 1 Dreadquake
  • some crew for the OG Hellcannon
  • about 28 Blunderbussiers
  • about 28 IG with Fireglaives
  • about 20 Infernal Ironsworn
  • about 40 Hobos
  • 8 Bull Centaurs, albeit a bit small
  • a special model for a second Iron Demon or maybe one day a Destroyer
  • 4 Bolt Throwers
  • 2 Magma Caannons
  • some Command Models
  • about 12 more dudes with Halberds

On top of that I got my hands on some nice 90’s Orc models, including some Blorcs, a Hero on Boar and the beautiful sculpt of Azhag the Slaughterer.

At first, printing was quite easy and the big mass of models heaping up on my workspace got a little intimidating. But over the last few months I chewed through, got many dwarfs already based and primed.

I love this Iron Daemon!

How did you create the smoke?

did you get this print off of Etsy or did you print it yourself?

thanks for the kind words and hello everyone!

I printed the Iron Demon myself. Originally saw it on etsy and nearly bought it but then set out to find the files myself on the web. I somehow managed to get here and find the files from Max152. The smoke on the chimney was there as well, I think. I just added the fiery shot effect from the gunner which was originally supposed to go with a Magma Cannon, I guess. Just happened to fit perfectly :smiley:

Hope to finish some more Blunderers over the holidays. Just started 6 new ones yesterday:

Hi fellas!

Have now finished 20 Blunderbusses, plan on going up to 30. Had a blast playing them last weekend. Now I keep going. Finished a Sorcerer on foot, built and basecoated 20 Ironsworn and today finally painted my Lamassu.

The Lamassu was a nightmare, since it had gotten this strange grisly surface when priming it. I then spent about 3 hours rubbing off the basecoat again. During this process, I broke off a feather and the upper 2 horns of the dude’s hat. I then made some new demonic ones for him from GS. Just need some work on the face and the base and I’ll be satisfied.

Thanks Tjub! I wasn’t sure at first, but the more colourful they get the more satisfied I am right now.

The Ironsworn Models are remixes I found somewhere on the webs. I think they originate from some hand modeled chorfs some guy made some time ago. They got these cool Bull masks on them. Here is a pic of one.

Tried to find out the origin again but no success. Maybe some of the elders here know?

That looks like an awful lot like a zonk but I don’t remember them having masks

Oh yeah, Zonk was the name! Yes, the masks are from some kind of remix. I browsed for so many files I completely forgot over time where I got them all from^^

Printer is running again and today I printed 29 additional hobos, 5 Black Orcs and 1 Bull Centaur from Brawniac, scaled to 130 %. I want him to maybe lead my Bull Centaurs but not sure yet since he is a bit different from my fabelzel ones.
Next will be a few more Black Orcs and then some of Brawniac’s Blunderbusses. After that another Rocket launcher and then finally some Khan on wolf.
