Awesome bitsbash! Always good to see more mechanical conversions. I tend to source backpacks from admech/skitarii since those have trended cheaply on eBay since the starter kit with necrons. Although kharadron thunderers have pretty great packs too

I feel like skaven engineering suits more than classical dwarf one.
It has the chaotic feeling, also the randomness of someone that tries hard to make shit works, but isnt as clean nor neat like a regular dwarf would.
In my vision CDs make things work due to their ability but also thanks to the power of demon and chaos.

I just realised that all the epic engineering on the Warlock Bombardier is just an elaborate fuse lighter for the little rocket-on-a-stick jammed into the barrel.
