So just musing to myself, if we presume Taurus will forever (in AoS) be a living statue, and outside the lammassu and the Bullcentaurs (of which we are lacking a hero), do people think we could see future aberrations outside of these added to the range?
If so, what?
I’m thinking possibly slave spawn. I.e. you give your newly Daemon bound weapons to be tested to your slaves and if something goes hideously wrong, better you than me.
I’d say there is a logical reason to put enslaved/chaos Ogors into the range as well. Seeing as they are probably a massive faction in Ghur

i’ll be getting some ogors as a regiment of renown for my helsmiths when the refresh happens anyways so chaos ogors (slightly chaosified since the Helsmiths are more Hashut than chaos) do sound nice

Maybe, but not as we usually think about aberrations.
Helmisths lore is a bit diferent from old Chaos Dwarfs in that nothing is above or even close to Helsmiths themself, and they need a complete total control. That means,ñ that they are the ones that must and should take any decision and the mount or monster shoudn’t even be allowed to think by themself.
The great taurus are a good example, a gargoyle animated and controlled by the riding Daemonsmith, and I expect the same for all kind of this aberrations: chariots, new mounts, beasts of burden… made by stone and iron but without a soul.
Not sure if Hashut will ever teach the art of twist/corrupting new living creatures from already existing ones (Black orcs comes to my head), but knowing what happened a millenia ago, not sure if he wants to repeat the same…
