Following the Border Patrol tournament I played the end of september, I defetaed two opponents there, and as such painted two representatives to go in my “slaves unit”. Using the colour scheme’s of my opponents, a Bretonian and a Dwarf are now “enlisted” for Hashut…

With the Artizan Contest now finished, I can add the Warmaster scale (10mm) terrain piece, made from an old compact disc and a series of Argatoria resin scenery parts. And knock one out from the counter.
Now, being old school, I love using compact discs (and face it, they are free at every garage sale anyways) as the footprint to make scenery. Past week I also made a dust cloud for some space scenery (hazardous area’s) for a big “space game day” at our club, which will be taking place somewhere may or june next year. Using the OPR rules to allow anyone to bring anything from their old collections, I’m planning to run a 5 scenario day of games.
A simple build, but will do great for marking a sort of “black hole” center piece where the game will be fought around.

And today I finished the trophy model for the last game I won in Blood Bowl, against the Vampire team.
Now sadly, his team was unpainted, so I didn’t have a colourscheme to copy. In the end, I decided however to make a grey armoured and cloaked vampy, and did paint the skin and the bats for some contrast with all the grey…

Black Friday deals, meaning the counter goes up again…
Got the new Starter for 75eur instead of the up and about 95 they go for online, and the terrain boxes where 30 each instead of 70 (for the Wakanda) and 55 (for the Asgard), so saving 85 euro on three boxes is something I don’t pass up…

December is typically a busy month for everything bar painting, and so we end this month, and year, with a final entry: the set of Shadow and Bone Spearhead terrain. I’m actually proud I painted this within the same year of release for once hehehehe…
And so we end the year a step better then last year’s BATG, and a little bit shinier medal to go with it afterwards. Now to focus myself for next year on even more consistent painting instead of “all over the place” and hopefully keep the buying urge in check (fat chance on that lol).
