I’ve always been a fan of dwarves but the chaos dwarves with those big hats were always a dream and I never understood why they disappeared for years!

Aye, I think we all share a deep fondness for the Big Hat models. For many of us, those were the first Chaos Dwarfs we saw.
As for why they (and indeed the whole army) went away, there are a few reasons. Our very own @Filmdeg shed some light on it in his excellent interview with Rick Priestley and Alan Perry

I’m a “Old Hammer” fan, the 90’s style of Warhammer Fantasy it’s fantastic, the Big Hats it’s the only way for the Hashut’s glory! 
Yes I love the bright colors! Great use of all of those purple red and yellow base coats very classic Chorf.
Are these are metal originals? Excellent collection.
Thank you! Unfortunately they are not original but the print came out very well. For the colors I was inspired by the codex of the big hats! Black, red and purple for the Dwarfs and a mix of bright colors for the Hobgoblins
