Making some progress. The Lammasu is painted (but not its rider), and I recently finished the giant, who I will bring to a GT this weekend!

Having skimmed over most of the pics and post I will say this. Very nice army very good success rate. I have played about 7 games of old world so far. I am only using the draft 2.0 rules. That right there will help you get a much better success rate once those rules go offical. Second thought, for me 2 iron demons are an utter must. Being able to throw st5 ap1 armour bane 1 shots 18 inches down range on 4’s. That murder power is a must. I like 1 taruak with the mask of the furnace for that 2+ amour save. But hes so costly. 2 kadai fire born under the new 2.0 draft are worth it soo much more so. Good reports good pics. I love your detial in the beards.

Thank you for your kind words! I also see some potential in Renegades 2.0, although I’m not sure it will ever become widely accepted by TOs.
I played at a two-day event in the weekend. Praise Hashut, for I managed to get a trophy for 3rd best general, which is my first podium place ever. 
I ran a lvl 4 on a taurus, a castellan on foot (as my general), some khans, ironsworn, goblins, iron daemon, bolt throwers, a chaos giant and some wolf riders.
One interesting note is that I rolled flaming attacks on my Darkforged weapon in all five games. Surely that was Hashut making some silly joke that only his most initiated children would get.
15 - 5 vs Dark Elves
10 - 10 vs Bretonnian exiles (peasant army)
6 - 14 vs Chaos Dwarfs (beautiful big hat army)
17 - 3 vs Empire
14 - 6 vs Wood Elves

Great job on a great model. That guy is the boar rider std bearer on top. I didnt fancy using that banner as i felt id break it pretty quickly. You could easily turn the banner into a wand using the osm sorcerer sprue.

Oh I didn’t realize, that’s a bit odd. In any case, maybe one day I’ll put another rider on top. I magnetized the models just for this, but he would still fall off because of the heavy banner pole, so right now it’s held together by both glue and magnets…
