Haha! It was a pleasant little find at the shop. Spent 10 minutes at least flipping through the book.

Here’s a few more pics.

Today’s the day! Warhammer World!

Check if the LoA Daemonsmith is still available. Could be an indicator of things to come/not to come.

Enjoy bud, good luck finding the assassin!

So sad, I will be in Warhammer World the next weekend (10-11). As @GhraskDragh said above, good luck with the assassin/s!!

Oh bummer!

The lighting is all over the place in the Spot the Assassin display. I didn’t spend much if any time looking for him/her. Haha.

Still at Warhammer World though, about to have some lunch at Bugman’s.

Spoils so far:

Getting this blunderbuss in my hand convinced me that I’ll be able to make casts of them for my 20 Legion of Azgorh Warriors. Pretty psyched about it.:+1:

Helsmiths and a Hellcannon!

Got the last Rogue Trader book on the shelf. I wonder if they have more. (Edit: they did )

I’m in Norwich today! Going to take some of your recommendations!

If you’re around later tonight we could grab a pint. :clinking_beer_mugs:

That’s the spirit! I forgot to mention - Plantation Gardens on Earlham Road if you’ve had enough of castles.

Pint sounds grand. Give me a whatsapp as and when.

The only advantage of being old is that I bought the 3rd edition rulebook brand new back then. Now, like me, it’s a rarity!

Definitely! I want to own a copy now!:+1:

It was awesome hanging out with you dude! Thanks for the Games Club Tour and the Pint and Crisps! :clinking_beer_mugs::potato:

We should have got a picture together, dang.

The Bear Shop is still there! I bought an expensive bear there for my girlfriend at the time (who is now my wife). Some stores you don’t expect to see still running after 25 years. Made me wonder if the bookshop by the market that was perpetually closing down was still there (always had a new sign saying that it was in the final days, for years), but it seems to have finally closed and became a noodle shop. I think that street on Elm Hill was used in a Monty Python sketch, it’s just so quaint. I take it you visited the Games Room too, that’s where I bought my first set of D&D dice for myself. The owner I knew died in the 2000s so it’s great that it is still going. I lost touch with my GameSoc friends from back then, social media wasn’t a thing in those days, I wonder if any are still in the area.

Thanks for sharing these, it’s been a real walk down memory lane for me.

The bear shop remains! I like to bring visitors there and guess the most expensive bear in the place (it’s a lot!)

It was lovely to meet Xander and give him a glimpse of my hometown/wargaming scene. What serendipity - of all the cities to visit, and all the niche interests to connect two individuals. Very cool. I knew he was CDO royalty but was not aware he’s founding father Hashut himself! Blessed. The city needs a plaque for the occasion.

It was a great meetup, and I regret that we didn’t get a picture together!

Thanks for the very generous advice about your lovely hometown. It was a pleasure to visit and I had a great time!
