Zanko`s Army of the Lizard King

I can’t wait to find out! Your ambassador is yet to be discovered somewhere deep in my pile of moving boxes haha

I have an already cool idea for an appropriate ambassador for you. The assembling and the priming are already done!

Ah mate - you’re definitely in the lead haha

I have a “flow” while painting, :metal: I’m almost done with the ambassador. I don’t want to put you under pressure, but you could give me your address via PM.

For the old (Nurgle) Palaquin with Chaos Dwarf hero I have now completed the appropriate unit! :sunglasses:

Very nice unit. So all the unit fillers…are you starting to run out of chaos dwarves? Where are those squat/space dwarf models (with the guns) from?
I like the model you picked on the throne too, very fitting

Such a cool and eclectic unit. Very distinctive and playful choice of miniatures. They look menacing as well. Great job!

The models are from Kromlech and the helmets are from Clam. I had got them for a contest and didn’t want to just “dispose” of them. I think they fit quite well! :sunglasses:

The parcel with the bull centaurs of “The Russian Alternative” is packed and will be shipped within the next few days, if nothing comes up.

Since the Bull Centaurs of “The Russian Alternative” are given away, I am in the process of painting new (for my army) more suitable models.
I also plan to build a new Shar`Tor, which will not be a centaur but a monster with chaos dwarf rider. Let’s see if it will fit …

Sounds good. The big hats and the sheer size of the r. Alternative make them look silly beside your old school helms?
Ive never come across generousity like yours man, very kind :boar::ox::medal_sports:(couldnt find a thumbs up emoji or a centaur)
Im still considering dwarfs on bears for these too

One problem, at least in my eyes, was the size of the models and that of the BigHats (which didn’t really fit - although I noticed this very late).
As for the big bull centaurs, I solved this with 2 models on a 75 x 50 mm base. The smaller BCs on the Cavellerie base are the Wild Boar Riders of Clam. Now some more models on 3-4 of the 75 x 50 mm bases and then it should fit in quantity … but who knows what else I build and paint!

Edit: I think we are, here at CDO, a really nice group - so why shouldn’t I share with you the joy I feel in painting, crafting and looking at the models? So if I can give joy by giving models as presents, twice as good!

… and now something big!

The first “real” Big Taurus! I was always a bit sceptical about the model. Since I had got it relatively cheap, I wanted to give it a chance. In the end - after the rider got a helmet - I think the model is quite good. There are better ones, but the price-performance ratio makes it attractive. :metal:

That is pretty cool. Nice base too.first helmet chaos dwarf ive seen on a taurus. Who makes it?

Scibor miniatures?

Yep! This model is from Scibor Miniatures from Poland. I just replaced the original head with a helmet made by Clam.

He looks great! I also have my eye on that miniature in case I want a Taurus. I really prefer the feathered wings over the bat wings, and your paintjob brings them out beautifully. Is that a 50x50 or a 75x75 base?

Thank you for your kind words. It`s a 50 x 50 mm base.

Nice! Another argument in favour of this model. I was afraid he might not fit, he seems so huge in the pictures on the Scibor homepage :14:
