Im in real danger of becoming an aos chaos dwarf loving new type! Went into the hobby shop for a paint and came out with the new blunderbuss guys
Nothing wrong with these guys even if the bodies are a bit weirdly cut into pieces. The big decision on heads will wait for another day. I fully intend to use the other guns on some other bodies in due course
Oh by the way….they fit on 20mm squares

I spent quite a lot of time on these. I hope they do me justice on the battlefield!
Im starting to feel i havent got a lot left to do for my chaos dwarfs. The journey has lasted nearly 6yrs so far. Hopefully we get a new unit entry soon for the old world.

Oh yes! Skull dude is a great choice for a favourite of the marauders, so hard to pick though there are many good ones. At a push I think I’d pick ball on a chain dude.
You also have one of favourite Orc sculpts from that era on there, the yellow armoured standard bearer is a wonderful sculpt and you’ve done an amazing job painting him. All those Orcs look incredible, the purples and face on that shield stand out

Tried painting the new helsmiths blunderbusses. The models are fine (fit on 20mm bases), if slightly too tall. They also lack evilness. The bodies could be good guys with different heads.

Golden hat contest entry:
This unit +1 pink bearded mutant i didnt quite get finished. The unit is led by a slug dwarf mutant.
Denelians excellent sculpt of a lammasu pulled cart. Unfortunately i couldnt find the rider so i replaced it with an osm one. I see this as a baggage cart for the chaos dwarfs.

Some big hats. Ive been trying to find a colour scheme i like that could be carried over many models. This might be the one i go for.
