ZODDs Realm of Chaos(-dwarf)

Well done! It’s the first one I’ve seen painted up. ^^

Excellent work as always, man. Love what you did with the beasts and beastmaster. That’s what’s on my painting table right now. Nice to see a well-painted example.

Its a lovely model. Thank you for getting it scanned. I printed your rider but ive lost him so apologies for not having him on his mount.

I look forward to seeing your version. Its a great little model. I thought his hat was a bat but it could be a hound i guess?

I scanned that guy too. Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s a dog head he’s wearing. I guess he’s trying to fit in with his hounds. Or it’s a warning to them.

I was thinking it was a hound but looking at it, I could see it being interpreted as a really cartoony bat if you painted it that way

I realised i didnt post my chaos halflings from the recent golden hat. These were inspired by the tow rule change to give hobbos (or chaos halflings) a 4+ save in combat. I wanted them to be like mini chaos warriors. Every single one had legs shortened and base under feet cut off to reduce height to go better with the chaos dwarfs

I hope to get this unit to 40 for an unstopable brick one day. I hope you do some chaos halflings too at some point @cubesight .

Finding the equivalent halfling proxy for sneaky gits is more difficult. These guys were an attempt for that.

Having run out of steam for the artisans competition ive dustracted myself with other things.

I went a little wayward with the bighat sorcerer but i think i get away with it. A little duel between zombie ninja chaos dwarf and ironjaw.

Big hat chaos dwarfs!

And the army so far (excluding the bow hobbos and black orcs)

I went for a fairly traditional scheme in the end. Thomas wood’s chaos dwarfs were definitely an inspiration.

This is some good stuff and a nice simple colour scheme that never misses the mark!! Now you just need some foam to start making that shelf into a diorama scene so they can feel at home!

Very nice; a very clean, unified group. It’s a very playable, very attractive unit - you should be proud to have gotten this together.

That is the top of my small ikea cupboard. I literally have no space to set up models to photograph them. My presentation of my accomplishments is usually pretty crappy.

It turns out painting red is a lot easier when you have nore than 1 red paint. The dizzy heights of 3 red paints now!

Hi,

This will take me a while to retrieve photos for this latest artisans entry.

The malal juggernaut before glueing together. I always paint the boar centaur pusher/cannon firerer.

I really should have cropped these…damn.

The hobgoblin/goblin rocket powered car is a proxy for a hobbo bigboss on a wolf.

The armoured suit guy could act as an ogre champion in a unit of merc ogres.

I really like the crew of this hobbo rocket launcher…full of character.

These deathroller dudes are procies for the larger centaurs. Ive wanted to do a unit of tgese for ages.

A chatgpt background added here. Im sure you are fed up with seeing the top ofmy ikea cabinet.

The flintstone-esque steam tank came out ok. The guy on the right comes from a great value goblin mincer/chariot kit-some much stuff included in it.

The spear piercer thing was designed by william in a previous artisans contest-sculpted by bob olley for osm.

The whole lot together

Impossible to get it all in focus.

The theme was wacky races that i kind of accidently fell into. Thanks for voting!

The latest addition to the helm and hat armies:

The beserker was sculpted from admirals sketch in a cdo competition. It led to a small unit of mutants being released by old scool miniatures.

Ok i need to not paint anymore fabelzel cds until i get the metal ones from flagellant.

I think these are different sculpts at least.

I finally painted some of brawniacs amazing blunderbuss models. So much detail…i pretty much never put the fine detail brush down.

The crab dwarf and the berserker are very interesting! Zodd, can you share a link to them, please?

Overall your CD collection is just epic…

I looked those over. They didn’t grab me, but dammit, I like those halflings! I was good though and didn’t buy any, for now… One project at a time…

I did think that those gnomes have some promise too though… IDK about the forest theme, but a bit of work and they could be a cool slave unit…
