most unsure about the 2k list. I figure for 1k the banner with the BB warriors gives them a bit of staying power while waiting for help from any of the other units to flank charge. In 2k though can see the baner on a unit of 18 being a bit unreliable. also not sure about the big block of armed hobos. unfortunitly only have 20 hobo models without a shield :frowning: for the rest figured might as well add the light armour than for just +1pt. would be a good tar pit unit in theory

drop the levels on the sorceror… 4 dice will equal no spells…

drop the command models on the BBs… or at least the standard… its a 100vp loss waiting to happen…

the point saved puts your 20 hobgoblins down vanilla…

drop levels for scrolls… talisman is also a waste of points…

consider dropping a whole sorceror… for a hobbie boss maybe…

BB sticks are a liability… group these 10 man hobbie units together…

I disagree with the banner on the blunder unit. only played a few 1-1.5k point games but I find they do help. very rarly would a unit outnumber my bb unit after a stand and shoot (even if it is just the front rank being obliterated). usally also get at least 1 turn to shoot whatever is about to charge me. the banner helps me stay in combat with the hope a faster unit can get in and help out.

also might be luck sometimes but I like the lvl 2 sorcers. played a 1k game against dwarfs and first time got an irresistable force and magical missled an oragn gun. killed 2/3 of the crew (more than made up the points for the sorc). againt a magic heavy army they will be pretty useless but against a more combat heavy they should do fine.

though yeah agree with the 6+ ward. dropped that and pumped by my hobo units to 15 each. also wondering how cheesy it would be to drop the death rocket for more bolt throwers. think 6 in a 2k game with an ES would be over the top?
