Random observation, you know the thick brown corrugated card, I’ve seen where people cut off one side of the flat card, which reveals the ridges inside. Which makes great roofing material without the need to cut each tile.
It does have a bit more of a Mediterranean feel, being curved tiles, but it’s also quick.

Corrugated cardboard is indeed handy for the terrain builder.
