Good looking army list Gar, what do you plan to use it for , a tourney or just fun games, the only thing i would drop would be the death rocket to take some cheep hobgoblins to protect the war machines or a cheep throw way unit

i’ve no room for decoy, at some point i had 2 deathrockets, as it is better than stone thrower for large units, ( easier to hit with, and larger template with AP), i am thinking of replacing shaker with another rocket, as if it only reduces M by half it will reduce charge range by 2" and 3,5"(for calvary) but i gotta go through rules to decide.

as to protect warmachines, i have 1 menoneater, and hellcannon of course, + core units but to lesser extent

Its for tournaments, in friendly games i preffer to use combat infantry, slaves and stuff like inferno golems

ah and combat lord is too expensive for 1600 game so tournament viable choice is a caster.

if your playing defence why not have a bsb and wolf riders to get in the way

also i think keep the earth shaker half movment gives you extra turns to blast stuff. if there a m4 units it can give you if your lucky 3 vollys from the blunderbusses . you have to be lucky for that to work maths hammering it that 20% each time just about a unit will be down to about 52 % starting strenght by the time of combat unless you shot it with other stuff as well then even less

The reduction in movement for Earth Shakers reduces charges from 2D6+Mv to 1D6+(½Mv)... which is much more significant and is perhaps a bigger effect under 8th Edition than before -- so work out their full charge range as normal, then reduce the total by half.

i am not sure about the movement being reduced to 1d6+M/2, i’d have to check wording and i am busy watching Mentalist and building deathrocket :stuck_out_tongue:

BSB is too expensive, i have 300+ pts in cheap deamonsmiths, (+1 power and dispel dice, and channel on 5+)

if u pass LD test anyone can march so its waste of points

Pros- strong defensive list that can blast an opponents army back to the stone age.

Weakness- very scissors, paper, rock sort of list. You will either completely obliterate your opponent or they will overrun you. Little room IMO for a close game, but then thats generally what happens with gun lines.
