In one the 3 format of FIGW the INDY BOOK army of CD is allowed!! the limitation of this format are general for everyarmy:
-2250 -a single character (mount excluded) that costs more than 290 pt is count as a hero choice more. - no special charachters allowed - not more than three characters/units able to cast spell - not more than 2 large targets (flyng models count as 2) - not more than 2 skirmish units (and only one etheral) - not more than 2 light cavalries (units immune to psicology don’t count) - not more than 2 flying units (charachters mounts and flying cavalries don’t count) - not more than 9 power dices. 1st bound spell counts as 1 PD, following costs 2 PD. - for each models equipped with a range weapons you must have 2 models without. war machines count as a number of models equipped with a range weapons equal to its US x2 (i.e. earthshaker has US 3 so it counts like 6 models equipped with a range weapons)

I tried this list for fun, without giveit a real hope to work (no ranks at all!!)… but… I don’t comment it until you don’t gonna try it: it’s amazing!! In first 2 matches I defeated skaven and empire quite easily… I expect your comment… I will post soon more results
I like the list. I’m not overly keen on the Chalice (maybe swop for another scroll?) but thats just personal preference really.
It’s different, I’ll give you that. Using the faster elements of the lists as the focus, rather than the blocks. The war machines might be hard to protect because there are so many quicker elements. Maybe drop the Chalice for some command choices on the centaurs?
you must think that you cast 5 bound spells without power dices… if you use it in your magic phase this allow you to cast 1/2 bound spells more for sure!!
today I play with empire with a priest and a wizard and he wasn’t able to stop my magic phase… I destroyed the steam think in 3 turns with 2 bolt thrower and 3 rules of burning iron casted on it in each turn!!
I don’t want to drop the chalice: too usefull in a list with 3 deamonsmith!!
wait gar… why do you say that daemonsmiths can’t have daemon bane??
It’s an arcane item without any specific limitation and daemonsmith “counts as level 1 wizards in all respects, with the exception that they never generate power dice (generate dispel dice as normal)” like is write in the indy book…
If the writers of the armylist made some specific limitations please tell me which and where I can find them.
its from main rulebook, a model cant have 2 bound spells with the exception to priests of sigmar cos they have prayers, a smiths boundspell comes from inbuild magic weapon.

gar OMG!!:o I’ didn’t think about it… and noone, even the referee of the tournament didn’t note it… maybe because INDY book it’s still pretty unknow and he didn’t know correctly these new rules… I’m gonna modify my armylist quickly… thanks for the advice

it was impossible defende all my unit…
first turn one single cannon killed GT…
second turn I lost one daemoneater
third turn I lost another daemoneater
notwithstanding all this it was a draw… but in last turn I charghed with golems a unit of 20 pikesmen without command and golem lost and run away… so I lost my 1st match on 10 plays…
This army book rocks!!
Now people in italy started to play CD in classic format with indy book and 2 weeks ago CDs win a tournament in the north of italy
