Personally, I always give my warriors great weapons. Their slow initiative makes them hit last no matter what, but the +2S is what tips the balance for me…
On the other hand, my obsidian guard get hand weapons and shield… they benefit from the added protection, and don’t really need the GW… they have killing blow, which means you have less need of the added strength.
The magic items will need some looking up on my part, so no commments there.
Maybe dump the wolf riders and eruption gun, and go for a second death rocket…
IMO, 5 wolfriders don’t do all that much, and the eruption gun is just a funny side-effect, a death rocket on the other hand can blow away chunks of the opponents army that neither of the former can.
All in all, only some minor details to think about
Well I want the eruption gun to fill out points for core and it’s pretty sweet for only 45 pts. The wolfys are there to hunt warmachines or to bait charges and flee and stuff. I find killing blow to be unreliable so I’d like to have some S6 WS5 death dealing craziness in my army to take care of the tough guys like lizzies and warriors of chaos. The hand weapon and shield makes the cds a bitchin anvil especially with chaos armor. Thats my reasoning at least…
