Metal is better then fire, although I’m not completely familiar with the swedish intracacies, will you drop below 10 if you take death/metal? I’d combine your two blocks of infernal guard to allow you to have one decent sized block with GW’s, this means you can put your bsb into that unit and just sit your level 4 inbetween your two warmachines for a LoS from the magma cannon and allowing both to take advantage of the engineer rule. Without GW’s bull centaurs don’t pack a solid enough punch. If your only giving one part of a command to units make it a musician as opposed to a standard
Tsagadai:
Fire has longer range which is why I went with it. Metal actually gives you a few points with Swedish (they seem to think metal is particularly soft). Centaurs barely pack any punch but with the hand weapon shield combo they do a great job at tying something up in combat for long enough for the footsloggers to reach them. Combining the infernal guard will push me over the points limit. I was thinking ditch a bow unit and rearrange some magic items for a second magma cannon or death shrieker.
Ceann Fine:
Fire’s range may be superior but its spells aren’t particulary effective, flaming sword of rhún is a good spell and fireball is handy for ethereals but besides that whats in it that metal can’t do better? At the minute your khans can’t vanguard which severely hampers them from the role you want them to play! I think your wasting a level 4 by putting him on fire (and i should know it cost me a podium finish in a tourney last month!) I maintain though mate that at 18 your infernal guard are too small to be anything more than a hindrance to your opponent, especially your m3 unit which are giving up 300+ points
