We have some house rules to simplify some things and make the game not last forever. We have a couple of units with homebrew rules like the Skeleton Mammox, and in the movement phase units can move through friendly units to make things quicker.
We simplified the magic phase a little too but tried as best we could to stick with the official rules without taking eight months on the game

what are you doing for magic and being as its a chaos dwarf forum what list are you useing for the choas dwarfs
the game looks in the ballance from what i can see the orges will be trapped inbetween the wall and edge of the bored and may not be able to get in to combats the lizzards if there skegs go down look like there going to get over run. but on the same token the evil armys look like there running out of ellite troops and may no have many big hitting uniys lleft at the end
I spy with my little eye 3rd edition plastic Orcs!! aaaah, the memories…
In a battle this size, it just doesn’t matter who wins or loses, rather than the experience of playing it. Am loving the models that span from 3rd thru 8th edition.
@richard, sorry work’s been horrible so only updating turn 5 now, though also got turn 6 done, unfortunately I got a little confused and on camera refer to it as turn 5, ignore that.
I’m planning to make another topic showing off the CDs in better detail after the battle, and I’m using the Indy GT rules for them
I’m lovin’ these reports Murdock, and I’m looking forward to seeing your army in more detail. The idea of playing in your lunch break is great, I just wish I had the same kind of opportunity.
Wow, such a great battle. The greatest picture is when the evil hordes storm the breach in the castle’s wall and the Good troops holds for the upcoming charge! You can even feel the poor empire soldiers’ cold sweat for the upcoming massacre
