The soonest i will be able to take part is on the 16th/17th as before that i will have to be spending most of my time at my dads (its his birthday on the 5th and a few days after that he is going over to america for a few months).
I will definately be taking part in this as there is a painting competition over on Avatars of War (the 3rd place prize is 3 Miniatures!!) and it ends on the 17th i think so i will be able to use this painting marathon to finish off the Dark Elf Lord i will be entering.

essentially and ideally a 6hr block but we can divide if necessary yes? …the hordes know i have more than enough to paint and the nakeds just keep lining up. Providing i can even find my paints/brushes i should be in for this one. If not well i can definately get prepped for the next.

You can do it all in one day or over two days if you want. Im going to try and get my AOW Dark Elf hero finished by tomorrow evening to enter into the WAMP AOW painting competition.

lol… well the day began a few hours after Kera’s; this is what i set out to work with: (as i hadnt picked up a brush for painting purposes in nearly 2 months i decided on a slightly agressive painting goal. I had forgotten how much time things can take) 50 BSP goblin spearmen, goblin hero, goblin shamen, 2 fanatics, Bloodbowl referee, 6 nurgle contagions, 3 plague towers and my Disc of Tzeentch still awaiting a champion.
As others decided they required my time at specific points i didnt get to spend full block of 6 hours… ended up in 2 hr stretches… and on a personal note Absinthe doesnt really make for a good painting muse. SO here is the aftermath of the final two hours:
Not a single finished peice in the lot, but decent progress was made, thanks for getting this rolling again Pyro and double thanks to you ms Kera for that “ahem” motivational kick to get us back on track.
looking forward to next months power session… chaos dwarf unit should become available to work with. Hope everyone had a good time. Thanks for sharing as well as taking part.

Wow you got a lot of painting done! I have to confess that i havent finished the full 6 hours. I have done about 3 but then my uncle came over and he helped me to put my greenhouse up after it blew down a few weeks ago so that took up the whole day. Ill do some more painting tomorrow morning and since i got my camera working again ill be able to show some pics. Ive been working on my Avatars of War Dark Elf Lord and an Anima Tactica figure called Shinigami Ayl. They are increadibly detailed figures. Heres a pic of what it looks like (its an absolute nightmare to put together. This one is not painted by me. Mine is only undercoated atm)):

would you believe last weekend was the first time I’ve had something to do on both days for months? A typical episode in the tragic sit-com that is my life.
I managed a couple of hours and got some more done on my warriors with great weapons.
