been painting up the heroes. Anyone have any idea what colour I should do his hat? or ideas how to do it. Alas my hope that it will come to me and I can free draw something has failed (for now).

WIP again looking for thoughts on colour. Though the flash really hurts some of the colour 
(the skull is actually all the same colour), yet can’t get a good shoot without it :mad. Oh well 1 more or less down. 5 to go

think going have to choose between orange and green for them though. not liking the spoty nature of these ones

Looking good. With the pictures, have a small backdrop and place it in front of a window. Then, about noon (when the Sun is brightest), take the pictures without flash. Best to do it on a sunny day. Experiment with how best to take the pics

well decided to go with wolf boyz next. already hadthe wolves down for my old hordes of chaos nurgle carnival (wow my GS was bad back than :D).
will try and get better pictures when my 1k is fully painted; more than half way there just need to do 5 more BC and my blunder busses.

the wolves were originally done for my carnival of chaos nurgle mortal list (so they were party animals :D).
but yeah with the latest changes to chaos I lost like 1/4 of my army and just don’t want to do anything with my chaos force till the new book arrives. So yoinked the models from farther Nurgle and now they serve Hashut

I know what you mean, I can’t play my demons any more and a full beastmen army will be around 1000 points and the mortal list in the WD isn’t intresting enough

Interesting choice of skin colour on the Hobgoblins, it certainly draws the eye. Good work on your army so far, it’s good to see someone tackling this army.

been awhile since I actually posted something here.
been doing some more painting and converting. Now have enough models to field a 2k army (last zappp guns just came in).
anyways my bull centaurs and nekkid slaves. decided to use snotlings for the nekkid slaves because they are awsome models and the bigger hobos than look much more dangerous (which makes sense since they have real armour/weapons and ride wolves).
for bull centaurs the one with the skill shield is going end up being a BC lord in 2k games

Hashut’s Blessing:
It’s all looking very good. The reasoning behind the snotlings is a good one. One thing about them, it seems like you have used a very thick orange. Add a drop or two of water to the paint to thin it down, that way, it won’t blotch up the detail (third in from the left, first picture). Also, the bull centaurs look really good, but another personal difference: the standard bearer should also be a big hat model. His height is different, he looks even shorter because he lacks the hat, his beard is different and overall, he looks out of place (more like he’d be in a different unit). However, the colour scheme is lovely. I REALLY like the vedigree and purple choice. Especially on the blunderbusses. overall, good job!

yeah I agree with the banner BC. just only had 5 tops and 1 bull to work with.
will see if can GS a hat ontop of his helmet somehow and hope it makes him fit a bit better.
