Great tribute to da Khan of Khans! He seems to be pumping on with axe in hand during the end of a particularly fierce battle, wolf straining to keep going. Nice shield details! And I spot a certain opulent lantern from Zealot Miniatures’ Dungeon Oddities set. In fact, you’ve achieved an especially fine paintjob on the lantern. Fuggit Khan obviously nicks all da richest loot for himself!
Come to think of it, I now realize that there is one thing that could improve your conversion and paintjob; realistic drool from the wolf’s lolling tongue. It’s possible to pull off (tutorials online), but if you ever do attempt it, then try out on unimportant test miniatures first.
Also, it’s nice that Fuggit christened that particular Khan miniature in many Chaos Dwarf collectors’ minds. Expect this to become an unofficial name mentioned on Solegends down the road.
Haha! Yes I think in these parts that model will be Fuggit Khan in the minds of many a forum goer.
Very well done! a cool model all around. However I feel compelled to point out that he is supposed to be missing one of his eyes… or was that sneaky git just squinting funny all along!? :o
Thanks guys for the comments, I’m glad you like him. I updated the pictures because I felt the previous ones looked washed out. I might link him this in a message and see what he thinks.
@Carcearion - I just figured that they were hard to see in the photos… I didnt paint him at a good time as all of Fuggits great photos are impossible for me to look through, and google has only backed up hazy poor quality photos of da Khan of Khans.
@Admiral - I am glad you think its well painted, I think I did the green bits on it really well, considering I originally went for a fire effect that I hated and then decided on the gem looking idea. I also painted the band blue and yellow to be more like a gift from the Bronze Aster Empire, but decided against it and repainted it because I didn’t feel it fit well with Fuggits overall look.
