Looking good! What line are these? I think I have some of these (Wehrmacht and US Paratroopers).

Swiss,
Sorry I must have missed this post somehow...:~
These Figures are From Renegade's rather small WWII range...and I must admit they are a bit hit or miss as far as the sculpts go...particularly the faces...some are great...and some...not-so-much...;P But I got them wicked cheap and they will work for what I'm looking for. Of course it could also be the fact that my Ham-hands are used to painting the exaggerated features of Dwarfs and just can't deal with actual facial proportions...;)
I finally found the time to finish up the first squad of British…and as a whole I think they look great…if you look really close at some of them things are a bit dodgy but nothing I can’t live with. I ended up basically doing base colors over black primer…leaving a black line between major components…and then washing with Delvan mud…followed by limited highlights.
Here they are:
Off to do the German squad so we can have a game soon!
I really enjoyed reading this forum. I can understand the appeal of the WW2 era soldiers, as I too am collect some. I think that you can go many ways with these, and it is definately a great way of introducing friends into wargaming. So this leads me into two possible rule-sets that you can use.
Flying Lead by Ganesha Games: Very popular set of rules and even allows for solo play. But it is skirmish size battles. A very active Yahoo Group
Thanks for the pointers G.2…I’ll look into those rules sets…there are a suprising number of options out there. Others that I’m considering are Rules of Engagement and the Warhammer Alt WWII rules…which are just moded 40k rules.
Weird WWII certainly holds an appeal…I like the systems that include armored troops and walkers etc…very interesting ideas there.

Here is a quote from one of the Yahoo Groups I am involved with. It was posted on 17 April 2011.
I've just finished the draft rules of the Superheroes & Sidekicks section of the NUTS! Weird War 2 book. The Weird Science section with panzermechs, rayguns and rocketeers is also done -- along with rules for real tech from the war like night vision systems, the X-7 ATGM and more.

I can't wait for this one to be officially released. I know they are play-testing it now.
Update:
I just read a great game write-up of a WWII game which used the Flying Lead rule set. I beleive the minis were 15mm but that doesn't have any effect on the rules, which can be used for both 15mm and 28mm.
Already told you in a PM that this LPL entry is excellent, but will glad do it again. Your work is - as always - outstanding - an I think to deserves a final top 10 rankings in that painting league - and have seen preview of the round 6 and 7 entries as well - I think it’s very possible ranking high on there. Keep it up, Blue.
