Initial horror at the list caused me hesitate begin painting my primed, based and ready to go big hat army. Playing with the list closed the door on that project. The basic dwarf warrior is just too many points to begin with, let alone once he’s kitted out. I wanted an army of chaos dwarfs, not hobgoblins (I have a proper OnG army for that thank you).
sigh such an opportunity wasted. Back to the shelf boys.

that doesn’t need to be. the legion is a rock-hard elite army, certain options may be a tad expensive but i, even ignoring matters of cost-efficiency, still wiped the floor with every army i faced so far (he, imp, brets and ok, the last having been the toughest enemy so far). LoA is not easy to play and gets better in bigger games, but it is great fun and quite competitive.
