Just thought id point out Im new here and placed a comment into the intro thread.

Chaos Dwarfs are probably the best models ive seen… IMO and have a lot of potential for painting and sculpting etc.
I have ordered CD from FW (just the Daemon smiths for now)
I am aware that a lot of you dislike the new FW line and like the oldschool look but anyway…
Im not really a wargamer. Never have been and I dont really play the game at all! Im more of a painter/modeller.
Although I am a bit strange… usually painters pick models they like and focus on these. Where as i actually do like to collect the army. Keep them authentic and follow the fluff - as much as I can.
I believe if you are a painter of any standard you want to showcase these models to fellow fans. And i also believe if you are fellow fans (the vast majority would critique your work on how authentic and on the fluff) like for example.
So I have a few questions since I dont really know much at all about CD.
I have noticed a few models on CMON such as Rogan Rygaard, Chaos Dwarf of Tzeentch and i was wondering if Chaos Dwarfs can be inflicted by Tzeentch, Nurgle, Khorn Slaanesh potentially and what you guys thought of this as I’m aware they have there own god Hashut etc. I’m sure they wouldnt choose them willingly but as fans I wonder what your thoughts are on this. As I would like to model something like Rogan as its a huge inspiration. Even if it was just the odd arm or somehting that was inflicted etc.
Another thing I liked very much was the use of Ogres on warmachines.
What about the use of them without warmachines? Like a small group of 3 or a ogre Champion? Whats your thoughts?
If it helps to link me some fluff or something it would all be greatly appreciated
Anyway would be great if any of you could give me any advice… and sorry for the bloody huge thread:)
