Grimstonefire:
Just watched that. Does anyone else remember if they mentioned in an email that they were going to ask for questions on facebook? Seems we have to check there as much as emails these days.
tjub:

Time of Madness:

Galladorn:
Superb army!
Anyone know the recipe for how he got that brass color?
cornixt:
It’s a bit monochrome right now, can’t wait to see it finished.
Zhorn:
Superb army!I'll ask him and let you know.
Anyone know the recipe for how he got that brass color?
Galladorn
Baggronor:
Is that 2 unridden SoM Lamassus? Cunning
Vogon:
Just watched it as well. It was nice to get a little more of the background on the book and also a few hints about the next book.
Love the guy with the big hammer, any one know where that round shield on his back came from?
Cheers
Vogon
Zanko:
Great conversions and I really like the momochrome painting style! :hat off
Would like to see more of the guys!

Zhorn:
Superb army!Word from the creator:
Anyone know the recipe for how he got that brass color?
Galladorn
4 "colors" - Tin Bitz, Boltgun Metal, Brown Ink and Devlan Mud.
Thin down all colors with lots of water, and brush up superficially.
First layer is thin Tin Bitz, then brush up boltgun metal w/ brown ink, re-work recesses with brown ink + devlan mud.
Highlights with boltgun metal.
Deliberate use of brown ink and inclusion of brown ink to the other colors are the important thing.
Admiral:
Great army. The hero with hammer reminds me somehow of the Diablo III angels. I hope he spice up the Balrog a bit to tie it in more with Warhammer and the Chaos Dwarfs.
Galladorn:
Zhorn, thank you very much! Going to do some test pieces today, and if it works out, going to use it for my infernal guard.
Grimstonefire:
That’s how I paint the armour on my clanrats, though I swap the devlan wash for a mithril silver highlight.
Based on my experience you’d need to do some mithril highlighting as boltgun is a very dull highlight contrast wise in relation to the shading they’ve done.
Galladorn:
do I mix the boltgun metal w/ brown ink? or apply the ink after the boltgun metal?
@Grim. going to try out different formulas on some old 5th edition models. The mithril silver sounds like it’ll work out quite nicely.
Time of Madness:
By what was given it looks like u mix the wash/ink into the boltgun.

ryanamandaanna:
huh. after watching the video, I thought the original idea behind this book was that it was going to be set in the future, towards the end of the Warhammer era…? Instead, it’s 10 years before the current timeline.
Thommy H:
There was a rumour early on - when it was four books written by Rick Priestly - that it would all take place in an alternate future. This is no longer the case. The whole project was scaled back and the events depicted in the book are no longer quite so cataclysmic.
ChungEssence:
Great looking army. Love the boss and great to see the Balrog on the Monster base
cornixt:
So I guess you can pronounce it tam-a-kan or tam-u.r-karn, oddly inconsistent in that interview, switching to a different pronunciation halfway through.
