Here’s an idea for Hobgoblins that might not have been thought of before.

If we’re using BFSP Hobgoblins, what about cutting them appart below the belt and then replacing their legs and feet with the legs and feet from the Dark Elf Warriors or the High Elf Spearmen.

It should work - I think I have seen the bottom half of skaven plague monks used for this type of conversion as well.

Hashut’s Blessing:

It’s possible that it may make the legs look too long, compared to the body. Perhaps the legs, but remove a small amount from the top?
