i watched this to, HE HAS SO MANY POINTS!!!
I dont want to see GW die but at the same time i want them to get a big kick up the bum for ther stupidity.
I was going to plant £300+ into a new cd army from forgeworld but im thinking of making a cd army totally out of 3rd party minis which i think is going to make grim pretty happy

I think he has many valid points.
Ogrob:
Interesting to listen to. I’m one of those who have lost their loyalty to GW already, and gone over to PP entirely.
If GW had made the changes he mentions in the video, I might have stayed. Can’t say.
Also, to me, there’s some wonderful irony in him recording this in front of the shelves with Warmachine and Hordes products. I wonder if it’s intentional.
Borador:
He is one-hundred percent right!
Godbob and his jolly rogers:
Damn wobbly camera!
But trying to get GW to listen, when your background is full of Mantic? No, no
Thorne:
I think the biggest problems GW have are being spelled out in that video. Mantic privateer press warlord and even the perrys who don’t have a traditional rule set are going to cut deep over time. You know brand loyalty has gone when you can name more than 15 companies that make similar products. If it were not for the poor postage and distribution of black tree designs that have products that you can drop into a warhammer army without staffers noticing then who knows ? But he hit the nails on the heads in quick succession.
aka_mythos:
I think what it comes to is that GW should have all the advantages to out compete every other company. GW has the technology and infrastructure that they should be able to out price the competition… and yet they don’t. They have the ability to communicate to its larger fan base, but they don’t. They have the ability to reshape and innovate the market, but they don’t. The fact that they at one point had the opportunity to really get into licensing their IP to PC games before that was really done speaks to GW’s static mindset. Now when they release WAR they’re competing against a billion dollar game franchise they could have been behind. GW is the story of missed opportunity, lets hope they realize their own potential before its too late.
Lord Farfocel:
:hat off to this guy… ok so this is what we do:
1 download the video
2 burn it on a blank DVD
3 drop it off at the WH world
4 ring the bell and wooopwoopwooopwooopwooop
5 relax with hashutlager = result
Lord Farfocel:
on a similar foot…
one year ago I had an opportunity to go to a friendly mini tournament in Nottingham, basically between lads and lasses from three stores… I wanted to get Dawi Zharr since (it was March) I got Tamurkhan for xmas, I was prepared to go FW crazy and get them fresh… My local Black shirt couldn’t say yay or nay so we called GW events (nice move from the store). They said that i cannot use the CD but I am welcome TO BUY FW MODELS AND USE THEM AS DWARFS… what a douche move… put me off for a year… only came back now…
Grimbold Blackhammer:
Why did you just bump a three year old thread?!
