Xander:

The polls for the 2008 CDO Community Awards have closed and we have our winners!

Best Attitude: Kera foehunter
A member should be nominated on their forum presence and behaviour towards other members, displaying exemplary attitudes of kindness and encouragement.

Best General: swissdictator
This member is always ready to give advice on army lists, has very good lists of his own, and perhaps has won a tournament or two using his Chaos Dwarf army.

Best Hobbyist: tjub
A nominee for this award has contributed an amazing model, or models that exemplifies what a Chaos Dwarf army should look like: flawless execution of conversion and painting while adhering to the Chaos Dwarf mythos.

Best Contributor: Willmark
This award will go the member that has contributed most to the cause of the Chaos Dwarfs. He or she has done or made something that has profoundly benefited the presence of Chaos Dwarfs as a whole!

Best Overall Member: Willmark
This member may not be the best hobbyist, might not ever win a tournament, but he or she has a great presence on the site, the forum, the wiki, the chat and whatever else! They are dedicated to the cause of the Chaos Dwarfs!

Congrats to all the winners, and a big thanks to everyone who took the time to send in nominations and to cast votes! That makes Kera and Willmark back-to-back winners of the Best Attitude and Best Overall Member awards respectively! Well done. Tjub and his fine blog has shown us exactly what you can achieve with a full use of the BFSP kit! Swissdictator has become our resident Tournament veteran and is always willing to lend a helping hand! And for his monumental undertaking of a Quarterly Web Magazine, Willmark earns our respect as the biggest contributor to the Dawi Zharr cause in 2008!

It’s been a great year for Chaos Dwarfs! Well done to everyone! It will be a hard fought battle for the 2009 awards! The blog section is heating up with some excellent stuff! Golden Hat #8 stands to be our best yet! You still have a couple days to finish your entry, so get moving!

Who’s in for making 2009 even better than 2008?! I am!! Maybe I am a fool for doing this, but I am going to pledge that my army will be finished up to at least 2000 points by the end of this year! Who’s with me?!

Be sure to congratulate your peers on a job well done, and then secretly plot their overthrow come the 2009 awards.

Well done to all the winners - and to all of thoose that got nominated but didnt win. Everyone of you makes a massive contribution to the site and you all deserve the recognition for doing so.

However it has to be said that the biggest winner in all of this is the site / community because without such excellent and hardworking members and staff where would we all go to discuss our favourite evil vertically challenged objects of obsession

Henroth:

Good, congratulations to all. :cheers

Canix:

Congratulations to all :hat off Without doubt the best site and getting better due in no small part to the winners .The attitude and work being done throughout the forum does great credit to the members.
