hey guys
i am up to another tournament this weekend. Its palyed with the usual Combat 8.0 restrictions and my list is therefor maxed out (as usual)
I played some tournaments with my deamons in the last few weeks and i thought it would be time to step back to my true love 
especially since my Drazhoat on Cinderbreath has arrived. He got painted by raider doggs painting service. I found this guy on ebay and got into contact with him. I will post pics in my Army Blog soon, together with some other new things. I have a completely new Destroyer and my Magma Cannons and the ID got painted also.

just one rocket and one lv1 mage for it. I will play very agressiv. So just stay behind with the FGs, the lv1 and the rocket, the rest is moving forward. In the past games that worked very well.
I won two times against my old enemyā¦ Empire with his Knight Lord and stuffā¦ Its a hard matchup for chaos dwarfs i think. The Lord with the Runeblade (how is it called) works very well against everything CD can bring. The other games where against wood elfs, which i crushed also, and orcs&goblinsā¦ vs the OGs it was just a smal victory because he got really lucky with magic and my Destroyer decided to blast himself off.
tomorrow i will play against Dark Elfs and if there is enough time left, against Ogres also.
I removed the Charmed Shield from the LV1 and the Warrior Bane from the BSB to free up Points for another guy in the IG with GW after the last game vs Empire todayā¦
just gimme your thoughts

maybe switch the fireglaives with hobbos?? more bodies, less points and if you give them bows more shots.

yes good advice. I did that before but when you play aggressive then often your general is not in reach of your hobgoblins and Ld6 is very bad. ;)

hmm true.
personally i just use them to clear chaff and the like, and if I have to I sacrifice them or just throw them in the flank of an enemy unit that is already engaged with my infernals. but my general is close so I dont suffer any ld issues (mostly). you could try out and see how they perform. otherwise a very good list imo. many threats for you opponent to face. also you could drop a khan and switch the shrieker with a magma...:~

yeah thats right. But i am feeling very unsecured with that rocket. First permission should be to fire on enemys warmaschines, a magma is not as good for that.
Also the Magma Cannon is a pool choice in that rest. system and i already have four out of four. Taurus, Iron Deamon and Destroyer (counts twice). So i am maxed out ;)

The other testgame was a draw against the Darkelfs and we quit the game vs the ogres in round 4 because we where running out of time.
The upcomming question is: Enchanted or Charmed Shield?
1+ armor or a 2+ ward against the first hitā¦ Its the general, lv4 mage and āi smash flamable thingsā unit.
What do you think?
I can change it till sunday morning before the tournament starts.

and also i made a lot of pics and notes during the game vs the darkelfsā¦ I am planing to make a youtube battle report just like once bittens or mr malorians, if someone knows themā¦ Well maybe you can give me some advices on how to do thatā¦ You know, which program i should use and so on for making a vid, showing pics and talking.
I am looking forward to make a youtube chan for battle reports. There have to be more Chaosdwarf batreps around youtube

Iād say charmed shield. there isnt much difference against 1+ and 2+ armor save. but the charmed shield saves your lvl 4 from cannons and stuff and makes him pretty much waste a warmachine shot (yes i know it hits the taurus as well but it does not die that easily most timesā¦)

the tournament is over. I managed to reach the second place thanks to the Taurus and his awesome rider.
In the first game i completely tabled Wood Elfs. Although Woodies get a huge boost in that comp system, he had a very poor list. So i killed everything and just lost 2 Khans and some Dwarfs out of the big unit.
Game two was against a very competetiv Woodie. He brought 4 Treemen, 2 ancient and 2 normal. Well I was too greedy and aggressiv with my general so he managed to kill him in the mid game.
11:9 to the Elfsā¦ but this time my own fault.
Game three against Ogresā¦ The fastest game i ever had. He called the game in his second turn.
He also had a very strong List. You know, Mournfangs, Maneaters, Gut Starā¦
In round one i killed 4 Guts with Flames of Azghor and paniced the Maneaters off the table with the IDs shooting. In my second turn i killed half of his Mournfang with the great magic missile. BUT in his second turn he missfired with the great maw and also failed his look out Sir rolls and lost his lv4 and his BSB. Game over
The Wood Elfs won the tournamend by this damn one point he got out of game two. X_x

yeah I find thats the problem with the taurus prophet. he is so expensive that if you lose him it is very difficult to cover the gapā¦

and yes the loss of the taurus with rider to his targets was very painfull but still shame on myself that i was to greedy and let him die this way :( ...The guy was a friend, in fact the one who playes chaos dwarfs too and doing the paint jobs with me i mentioned in my blog. So he already knew what he had to face.
I am at least at 2 tournaments this month. Dunno if i bring the Taurus again I still prefere the Lammasu.
I will post my list here, if i decided in what direction it should go.
